Founded in honor of Sergeant Adam DeCiccio, a decorated veteran who dedicated his life to serving others, Cranston Cares continues his legacy of selfless service and community impact.

Adam DeCiccio: A Legacy of Service
Sergeant Adam DeCiccio was a true hero and inspiration to all who knew him. His dedication to serving his country and his community was unparalleled. For several years, Adam and his friends would join forces to raise money for the Military Friends Foundation. Team 2/22, which was named after their military unit 2/22, participated in Tough Ruck Nation’s fundraising efforts for fallen service members, police, firefighters and emergency medical technicians and their families.
Though he is no longer with us, his legacy lives on through the work of Cranston Cares. We honor his memory by continuing to serve others and make a positive impact in Cranston through deeds not words.

Building Restoration Fund: Park Theatre: Help revitalize a historic community space for future generations.
Cranston Veterans Memorial Ice Rink: Restoration paint project.
Community Projects: Enhance Cranston’s quality of life through various projects.
Homeless Outreach: Provide support and resources to those experiencing homelessness.
Meshanticut State Park: Restoration and community paint project in collaboration with the student leadership at Cranston West.
Mentorship Programs: Empower the next generation through mentorship, antibullying & unity.
