Following in their founder’s motto of “deeds not words”, this past week at the Veteran’s Day parade, Cranston Cares was able to provide 300 turkeys to the needy in Cranston.
They were able to give 200 turkeys to CCAP, 25 turkeys to the RI Dream Center and six turkeys to Bain Middle School for their cultural holiday program.
The remaining turkeys were given out to Veterans and active duty military families at the parade.
